I hope people know that with Ryzen, faster ram actually helps significantly. I am Running 3900 cl 16 vs. Stock 3200 cl 16 and it gives me Flat 10% increase minimun.

Yes, budget builds are worth it. Because something is better than nothing, My 1st custom build cost me 300$ back in 2008, Broke, Too young to work and had to mow yards for a month and save for it. I was playing WoW Wotlk and was fed up with 5FPS in raids and couldn't join in from playing on my Walmart craprig computer, That 300$ build carried me for 4 years on 70 - 50 FPS until I moved on to my 2k powerhouse I still use to this day. in fact, I still have both computers and use the 300$ computer for older games. In my world spending 300+ on a video card would get the shit kicked out of you or people tell you you are an idiot.

What I don’t understand is with the motherboard, he says that AX370 is a little more than $100-$115 but from what I can see this motherboard sells for over $100 more than that. I wouldn’t necessarily say that that was a “little more”

A budget build made purely of the cheapest components you can get usually *isn't* worth it, certainly not for very long. (That said, I slapped together a Linux PC of low tier garbage to use as a NAS box once and It's still ticking along, so YMMV) The trick to a budget build is to skimp on what you can get away with to let you refocus what cash you have on the components that will make the most difference to what you're trying to do. onboard intel GMA isn't a good choice for most builds, but it suffices for a NASand used the SINGLE expansion slot (to give you an idea of how low tier the mobo was) to give it faster networking, because that's what it's going to spend 99% of it's time doing.
Tom Blackwell
Tom Blackwell Vor 25 Tage
Unless you actually need a pc, no your better off with a Xbox One X or Ps4 Pro, and the next gen consoles will offer even more value but ultimately they are a one trick pony, whereas a proper gaming pc is usually a great workhorse too

budget builds are great to use, dont see a problem with them, Most MMOS are easy to run and budget builds are awesome for MMOs. I still use my old 6 year old pc and play World of Warcraft and ESO just fine, pc gamers think they got to have the most expensive hardware so they can say they have it, dont need a 1500 dollar syatem to enjoy pc gaming, pc gamers act like women on PMS

How do I match parts?
TheUnbanned Vor 27 Tage
Agreed with everything but you forgot the 2 most important parts You 'mentioned' the case, but that's it. Ye look for one that looks cool for your taste, but don't forget looking for features like max. cpu, gpu length, amount of disk placements, airflow, fan delivered, airflow, front ports, placement of ports, cable management, extra's like controllers and rgb. And the second most important part, or should I say the most important part. The power supply (psu). Buy a high tier (2a or above) psu (Google psu tierlist 2020) and you don't have to buy a new one everytime you want to upgrade something because maybe your psu will break the system. Futher I totally agreed, but these 2 are very important to not cheap out on.

budgeting to me is buying what you need for your applications. i could have bought a 3950x but instead got a 3700x cut my cost in half for a little more than i require. same for mobos, ram, gpu. cut the frills and get the most bang for the buck. i still have a z68 sandy bridge with a i72600k that still oc's to 4.5 with hyper 212 plus 40 degrees. samsung 850.
