This is the 'panetone' style that my mum uses (that's what we called it - less cake-y and more bread-y). All in, and tin-baked. She sometimes has 6 tins in one oven; they didn't last long, and different to a Victoria-style sponge. Claire, thanks for the memories.

Thank you for this wonderful recipe, I think it is certainly delicious, but I am Arab and my grandmother says that the excessive of black sesame is harmful, if the recipe is good only should not increase the black sesame.
