One time the employee at the local subway recognised me and my brother because we went there so often and we Never Went Back, so the idea that the store itself would acknowledge me directly is a nightmare
I wish I had to go somewhere very often to be remembered and recognized... people always remember me for some reason even if I've only shopped somewhere once. I don't have green hair or anything weird like that, so I do not know why. Man, I wish I could be sort of anonymous.

I used to have such bad social anxiety that I once paid for something, then started walking away without my change. The very thought that someone would ask if I needed help filled me with enough dread that I wouldn't go in some stores. Now I'm like it's kind of neat being recognized at my favorite ramen/sushi place. "It's good to see you again" "thank you, the food is great as usual" Sometimes I'll wear a collar and tail out in public, and I'm far less concerned if people look or say something.

I think people also forget though that like, the workers are also people. When I was working at Walmart we weren't allowed to fight the customers, but I'm happy to hear the company is finally listening to the requests of its employees.
Every time I go to Walmart I never get helped properly, if you do get them to help they go away for like a half hour and you're lucky if they ever come back
what employees, when you quit they said F it and went to nothing but self checkouts lol

@@emperortransman No I ask basic things. Such as "Can you unlock the SD card rack for me?"
@@bakedthepotato5489 Oh I might be able to explain that. Obviously this isn't always the case, but this was the case for me. I would often be asked to unlock things by customers even though I didn't have the keys. So I would go look for the person with the keys or look for someone with a walkie talkie who could summon the person with the keys, usually my manager. a while ago I had a nightmare that I was living in a studio apartment with only 2 rooms: Studio apartment and an infinite Walmart that contained literally everything imaginable in stock always. it was awful and I felt like I was but a human soul stuck in a capitalistic hellscape, a dry husk of civilization. the world ended with not a bang but with the equivalent power company turning off your power because you hadn't paid your bill. I was designed for more, I AM designed for more, but I was being limited by some asshole who doesn't think beyond his microdick before sealing my fate and that of billions more in the name of profit. I can only wonder if he enjoys himself, what world did he expect to enjoy, to what could he flaunt his greed, he sacrificed everyone already, the only thing to do is renounce and think of others or become one and die alive, extinction without being killed, rotting but unable to decompose. I didn't want to, I didn't have a choice.

I loved this video. I totally feel the frustration of trying to figure out Roblox. And I gotta say it was very funny watching another adult play if for the first time. That was me when I first played and sometimes now lol. And yes the glitches are neverending with Roblox lol. But when he tried to equip the sweat pants and shirt.. XDXDXD I have SO been there. LOL It still happens to me on some games. It can be VERY frustrating lol. I've actually played Walmart Land before. And I looked for Noah too! XDXDXD Sadly I've seen stranger things but not all of it and it's been at least a year or so since I've watched it, so I got a lot of questions wrong too lol. But ultimately I found Walmart Land very boring. There's nothing to do that has a real objective. Which I found a little disappointing because the "world" is actually very pretty. OH and he might have picked up a coin while on the mono rail, there are coins a long the track, but idk. Anyways great video I loved all of it! It takes a lot to make me laugh and I laughed a lot. :) Thank you :)

Idk about anyone else, but I used to call Walmart: “Wallys World”. I thought it was a common nickname for it. Maybe a Midwest thing, maybe a Minnesota specific thing, but still. “Wallys World” would have been a better name choice over of “Walmart Land” imo

That’s crazy that Walmart can advertise directly to children, without transparency, with impunity

This one actually made me laugh out loud, multiple times. Is it Danny, Danny’s hair, or Walmart’s audacity?

It would be cool if the store had endless isles with different stores on each side, like Safeway, Home Depot, and so many more.

The milk thing had me laughing hard. Like "can anyone hear me, and is it obvious I'm alone" hard. The nerve that you'd just talk to my fridge, then tell me to put it back?! I'd very quickly be double homiciding Sam and my fridge. I know they hit it off, but I'm still the human here, damnit! .....AI's gonna be fine.

I really hope people start making horror games on this concept. Like it’s the perfect theme for a psychological horror dystopian game.
There’s one that Jacksepticeye played, I can’t remember what it’s called but it’s basically stacking shelves and trying to avoid customers because they stop you finishing your jobs and you get fired if you don’t. They also chase you if you run away and you have to hide in the staff room.

I remember that one time I went to Walmart with my dad at like 6:30 and as we walked into the store I fully expected to turn around and see just more Walmart behind me.
@@blackparademistress1 are u thinking of night of the consumers?
well there's actually a game ON roblox called "SCP 3008", and you're in a huge ikea while the employees try to kill you. you can also build a house out of things you find in the store so it's pretty fun

These things remind me of having conversations with my insanely coked up professional DJ friend 20 years ago, where his vision of the future was uncannily close to this, and I'd just be asking "why? how is this actually better?"

The world's corporations are slowly turning into a Bladerunner type future and I don't know whether to be impressed or scared. Also how much they pay Noah to host "trivia games" in Walmart Land? I need to know.
@Soliterror Vor 11 Monate
Danny's reaction to playing Roblox for the first time as an adult is so relatable. As someone who didn't grow up with Roblox it makes me feel better about my own ineptitude the first time I played a few months ago "Obbi? Is that a word?" - Danny Gonzalez
The fact that they are called young shoppers is so dystopian. That’s all these corporations view them as is shoppers and they are trying to force themselves into their lives through the games they play.

Imagine working at Walmart HQ and they show you this horrible dystopian simulation that probably cost millions to make, and your boss is standing there smiling at you waiting for you to be like “I love it! So futuristic! People will shop at Walmart more now!” And you have to decide if it’s worth it to tell the truth

I feel like this has promise. Not, from Wal-Mart, or done like this, but if say, a department store had virtual shopping that was well designed & easy to navigate, like a good video game, it could be great. The problem with online shopping is not getting to wonder around and see random things.
