Clever bit of gamesmanship here from Jezza... Visit the nearest competition farm shop. Ring up huge bill. Show farm shop name. Everyone gasps. They all visit Jezza's new farm shop just down the road next time instead. Simples. 😆

@Pete Jones Well what do you suggest? It’s not exactly feasible to make the common man pay £83 to make a ploughman’s lunch. If you want food prices to remain reasonable in the supermarkets then you can’t be paying farmers these big wages, that’s just the sad reality of it.

I mean, local farm shop, local farm shop prices. Probably £5 for the bread, £10 for the ham - easily £20 for the cheese, that's already £35. he also picked up that bottle of wine or mead or whatever it was that was likely £25 too. 25 pounds for a Kilo of cheddar!? Yes the price/weight sign is in metric. Probably to confuse the English customers. Very few English people compute food in Kg. No? This is insane! And the poor girl at the register probably thinking she is selling great products a a good price.

> Very few English people compute food in Kg. No? All of our stuff is sold and signed in metric, there's only a few exceptions (like pints of bear, miles instead of kilometres on signs), etc. We use a mix but for most stuff sold in shops, it's all metric.
